Downer Professional Services offers a wide range of consulting and technical services, solving complex challenges such as logistics, supply chain management, systems engineering, integration, cyber security, project, and program management. As a proven capability partner, Downer Professional Services helps build Australia's security and safety.
Our 300+ highly skilled and security cleared personnel, work with Defence and Government to solve complex challenges through thought leadership, operating in communities of practice that enable cross pollination of innovative expertise, experience and technology to deliver success.
Conway has partnered with many industry-leading and globally recognised organisations, helping them successfully deliver business and social value through digital transformation. This has enabled him to build in-depth knowledge of the Government, Defence, national security, distribution and manufacturing sectors. Conway has held executive leadership roles across Asia Pacific and Europe where he led significant business transformation programs.
Mark brings over 30 years of experience in the Defence sector. He has spent his career focusing on applying technical and professional knowledge to processes across the capability systems life cycle and subsequent sustainment activities.
Mark joined Downer Professional Services in April 2016 focusing on the Department of Defence, Chief Information Officer Group (CIOG). He has extensive experience communicating and negotiating with key stakeholders to understand their requirements, develop complex technical and business plans and deliver on these outcomes. Mark leads the growth of Downer Professional Services - Technical Services Business Unit, having oversight and delivery of project outcomes and products to key Defence customers.
Felicity has extensive People & Culture experience in both public and private sectors and across numerous industries. Felicity also brings complementary program management and change management expertise to her role.
Felicity commenced her early career in Federal Government, during which time she performed in both functional and operational roles. Felicity moved into a National Business Partnering role with Boral Australia and was responsible for program management of national People & Culture programs and initiatives, delivery of annual People & Culture processes and support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle for the business services functions. Felicity has been with Downer Professional Services for three years and prior joining, had briefly returned to the Federal Government in a specialist Industrial Relations role, before pursuing a role where she could utilise both her generalist knowledge and program management skills.
Maisie is an experienced leader, with a 15+ year career spanning Management Consulting and Professional Services.
Maisie began her Talent Acquisition career in an agency, before joining the Boston Consulting Group where she spent over a decade delivering Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, and Inclusion and Belonging efforts. Maisie now spearheads the Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning function for Downer Professional Services, focusing on the development and implementation of a strategic workforce plan to ensure seamless alignment across the consulting workforce's employee lifecycle. Her role encompasses talent attraction, retention, and development, as well as optimising resource allocation and leading strategic People projects for organisational advancement.
Rory is a legal, commercial and governance professional with over 20 years’ experience in private practice and in house roles across a diverse range of sectors. Rory was a senior associate with Norton Rose Fulbright before moving in house, fulfilling senior legal counsel and company secretarial roles before moving into a commercial role with Downer Group in 2019.
James brings over 15 years of senior finance experience within a number of industries.
James started his career as a financial auditor with PwC before moving into commercial and operational Finance working in distribution, franchising and mining services. Prior to joining Downer, James worked at International SOS in a number of roles before becoming Regional CFO. James has been with Downer Professional Services for over three years and is responsible for all financial matters, driving business plan execution, financial performance and transformation.
